Above is a very small example of the little hurdles I’ve to cross to get here, well they are a lot less than dinosaurs. Sitting on my bed propped up with a dozen cushions, swallowing a gallon of chocolates and talking about fashion is my dream, I wish I could do it all my life. But as a girl living in the 21st century our responsibilities are a lot more. Therefore time management is extremely important. In my case I have no sense of time management but strangely I’m a genius in lecturing everyone else about.
My avatar above (a replica of myself) has managed to get herself a red blazer quite similar to the one featured in our previous post. That’s what I call enthusiasm. She hardly waits around for me because I can’t seem to get a move on! And she is here yet again to help you with your fashion choices, so you get to look good while you manage your time efficiently.
Ladies it’s the weekend yet again and I have something lined up for you. You might’ve noticed that the region has been experiencing different levels of weather as the chill creeps in and out. So it gets kinda tricky when it comes to our dress sense. I sometimes find myself changing at mid-day & having a second change after sunset. Anyhooo…. Are you hitting the shops? Doing the family rounds? Attending any braai’s or functions… we have a guide to looking classy this weekend (^~,)
Our colour combo for this weekend Carafe & Deep Lichen Green
Below: Beautiful layered leopard print dress, this looks stunning with jeans/ leggings
You can choose between knee high boots/ankle fur edged boots
You can add this cute skirt to your carafe colored basics when you taking a rain check
Hijaabis, Niqabis & Abayabis: There is nothing more you need here besides a neat pair of straight leg jeans preferably in a worn out green/blue shade. You can also replace the blazer with a sweet girl jersey cardigan. We absolutely Adore the world map shoe – “give a girl a pair of heels & she’ll conquer the world” I think fits this description perfectly. Since you can’t show your ears, have fun with your earrings as forehead accessories or scarf pins. Work these gorgeous items in and out of your abaya. If you wear the half niqab you can take advantage of the use of beautiful autumn earrings by using them as forehead accessories.
If you anything like me & prefer to wear the scarf that matches your abaya, you can always use the coloured scarf as a neck scarf over the abaya, it really adds character to your look & reinvents the world of fashion.
Opt for longer neck pieces, especially if you’re wearing abayas. If you wear hijab only, you may get away with some short neckpieces. If you have beautiful chokers, pin them to your hijab to accessorize your hijab.
Makeup for this weekend.
Hopefully we won’t be hearing “what do I wear today?” this weekend (^^<)
