Also known as the Cremora Tart is another great time saving recipe that will fool the hell outta anyone, as this fake cheesecake looks like cheesecake ,tastes like cheesecake but contains NO I mean, absolutely NO cheese!The first time I had Cremora tart I honestly thought it was cheesecake ,my friends and I raved on about how smooth & creamy the texture was, just to be told by the hostess, on the quiet mind you that it was actually a Cremora tart dressed up like a cheesecake. Hence the Faux Cheesecake…. Errr and that’s pronounced “Fo” cheesecake ladies and not Fox cheesecake….

- 1 cup of cold water
- 2 cups of Cremora powder
- 1 tin of condensed milk
- 125ml lemon juice
- 1 pkt of Tennis biscuits, crushed
- 100ml of melted butter
Crush the biscuits and add the melted butter. Press mixture into serving dish.
Mix Cremora and water using a beater. Add the condensed milk and mix well. Add the lemon juice and stir until a stiff mixture is formed. Pour evenly over a biscuit base. Decorate as desired.
- Variations : crushed pineapple could be added to Cremora mixture
- Or passion fruit pulp etc.
